March 4, 2010 - Battle Age #20 has Started
We are pleased to announce that a new battle age (Battle Age #20) has started!
We are happy to announce the release of a brand new EverWars item expansion, The Tempest. The Tempest expansion add hundreds of new ultrarare, status and legendary items to the game.
Since Battle Age 18 lasted a lot longer than normal, we decided to award prizes to the top 100 players and the prize rewards included a lot more status points than usual. This was a one time event though as future battle ages will be automated and the prizes and number of winners will return back to normal.
A new slot type has been added to all characters for Charm items. There are currently no charm items in the game but they will be added very soon and will provide new bonuses and features not currently found in EverWars. We will announce more on this soon!
We are pleased to announce that a new battle age (Battle Age #19) has started! The battle age process is now fully automated and will start/end on the first of every month.
We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Battle Age system! Battle Ages will now last approximately 10 days (this number may change) and the winners will be awarded automatically at the end of the battle age based on their rankings. The number of winners and their prizes will continue to change periodically so it is a good idea to get as high on the leaderboard as you can each battle age!
I will post the winners of Battle Age #17 in this update message in just a few minutes. In the near future, there will be a report added that will display the winners of all battle ages starting with Battle Age #17 and include all future battle ages.

October 17, 2009 - New Battle Age Starts Later Today!
I had been delaying the start of the next battle age in order to determine exactly which path the continuing development of EverWars would take. Based on player comments, I now have a good idea what everyone wants so it is time to implement the automated battle ages.
So if you are trying to move up in the rankings, now is the time to do so. Once the new battle age starts, all battle credits will be reset to 100 so there is no need to save them.
